What is Adrim ( doxorubicin)?
Adrim is mostly used for treating certain cancers and slowing down the growth and reproduction rate of cancer cells. However, a combination of various cancer medications would be better with this drug to achieve more effective results. Doxorubicin is very effective at reducing malignancies in solid tumors of cancer patients and improving the hematologic status of leukemia patients.
What is the appropriate dosage of Adrim ( doxorubicin)?
The medication is given intravenously, either alone or with a combination of other drugs. In adults the dosage ranges from 60-75 mg once in 21 days or 30mg three times a week.

What are the side effects of Adrim ( doxorubicin)?
Bone marrow depression, hair loss, mouth inflammation, bleeding gums, skin irritation, change in urine color for 1-2 days (red mostly), sore throat and signs infection can occur with the administration of this drug. Contact your doctor as soon as possible if you encounter any serious effects from these symptoms.
